He became a doctor after studying at Ain Shams University in 1981 and specialized in Internal Medicine. He moved to California in 1998 and served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at Holy Virgin Mary & St. Pishoy in Los Angeles. In 2003, he was ordained a priest by His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion and started serving at St. Mary of Egypt. He was elevated to Hegumen on March 29th, 2026. He obtained his law degree from Ain Shams University in 2003 and was an active servant at St. Mary Church in El Zeitoun, Egypt. He moved to California in 2012 and served as a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at St. Mary of Egypt in Santa Clarita while working as a supervising paralegal at a law firm. He was ordained as a priest by His Eminence Metropolitan Serapion in 2016. Following his ordination, he served for three years at Holy Virgin Mary & St. Pishoy in Los Angeles before returning to St. Mary of Egypt.
